Sergii Mirnyi rolls in the snow after a sauna in Chernigiv. In 1986, during decontamination efforts, Sergii served as commander of a radiation reconnaissance platoon working around the Chernobyl plant. An eternal optimist, he now dreams of producing a comedy film about the lives of soldiers cleaning up after Chernobyl. “Mostly, people do not get sick because of radiation,” he asserts. “They get sick because they believe they are victims.”<br />
