In Tomioka, Japan, buildings and cars destroyed by the March 11, 2011 tsunami remain standing in the neighborhood near the former Tomioka train station. In 2015, four and a half years after the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant disaster, laborers are working to decontaminate homes and commercial properties.
