Peter Bardaglio is a leader of the new Black Oak Wind Farm, the first community-owned wind farm in New York, now in development in Enfield, NY. He is a member of Fossil Free Tompkins, a local environmental group in Ithaca, NY, working politically across Tompkins county to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Their work includes political action against new fossil fuel infrastructure such as proposed conversion of the Cayuga Power Plant in Lansing to burn natural gas, the Crestwood Storage Facility in Seneca Lake and new pipelines. The group advocates instead for increase of renewable energy construction including the Black Oak Wind Farm in Enfield and solar installations. <br />
