Marie McRae owns a horse farm and stable in Dryden, NY, and was active in working to ban fracking in Dryden. She is now an active member of Fossil Free Tompkins. She visits with Jane Whiting, an intern at Fossil Free Tompkins. McRae is now an active member of Fossil Free Tompkins, a local environmental group in Ithaca, NY, working politically across Tompkins county to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Their work includes political action against new fossil fuel infrastructure such as proposed conversion of the Cayuga Power Plant in Lansing to burn natural gas, the Crestwood Storage Facility in Seneca Lake and new pipelines. The group advocates instead for increase of renewable energy construction including the Black Oak Wind Farm in Enfield and solar installations. <br />
