View from Mount Okura in early morning. Mt. Okura is a 1950-foot peak in the Fukushima Exclusion Zone, 8 miles from the destroyed Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. The panoramic view from the top includes power plants in three adjacent coastal towns: Fukushima Daiichi to the northeast in Tomioka, Fukushima Daini 5.25 miles to the east in Naraha, and Hirono Power Station, a coal-generation plant 8.5 miles to the southeast. Much of Naraha is visible, including the junior high, the town hall and the Kido river, as well as the rest of the Abukuma range to the west.<br />
